4. I KNOW!!!!!! WHAT A STINKIN' CUTIE!!!!!

Elijah - 3.5 years old Sept. 2014
2014/2015 Preschool
5. Sure, pull my arm.  Here are some of his "works of art" for you. If you are good, you may get one in the mail with his picture ;) hahaha:

6.  No I am not keeping everyone of them. Only a couple and the rest are photographed to one day be put in to a photo book...but you know how good I am at that....

Piano Man

"Sing us a song your the piano man. Sing us song  tonight. Well we're all in the mood for a melody and you've got us feeling alright."

Such are the iconic lyrics of Billy Joel's "Piano Man". It is such a fitting tune for these darling pictures of Elijah serenading us on the piano. No, he's not listening to anything on those headphone; they're not even plugged in.  He's just rocking out to the tune in his head. I think he might be inheriting some of his father...and my showmanship. Hahahahaha

Fun filled Saturday

Aaron has started yet another class.  This one is through the union hall for drafting and will be every Saturday for an year. What does that mean? Another 4 hours of single momhood every week.  But you know what, its great! This is week two and we've had some fun times already, just me and the boys.
This morning we were up dressed and out of the house by 9:20. Pretty amazing. Best part was Elijah didn't come wake me up until 8! Now that's shocking! This is how I was woken up:

Yep. That's batman bidding me good morning!

Cute right?  Anyway off we went to run our errands. To the grocery store to the condo and to our pastors house to drop off the grocery's for a lady's spa day that I'd be later attending. Then home and a big hand off to #1 dad- Aaron, as he was back from.school and I was....well...very ready to go back to spa day!!
Off I went, had a relaxing time inclusive of a 20 minute chair massage, pedicure and about 4 hours of solid me time!!!
Then Aaron cooked an amazing pork chop meal for dinner. Don't worry- the Pigmy's wouldn't know what to do with these pork chops, as they were tender, juicy and delicious! And off Aaron went to the man cave to study and dad and I took the boys out for ice cream since they ate all.of their dinner.
Well ice cream was a hit as you can imagine. A picture (or 5) speaks a thousand words. So below is our ice cream diatribe via pictures hahah.

Just a quick last fun note: we ran in to the Thompsons from our old court whonwwre with their only grandchild, an darling 6.75 year old who is the spitting image of her mom, Cidy. So says dad as he recognized her before Alan and sylvia! It was neat to see amd talk to them.
OK that was long, and you are probably thankful for it since I am a terrible blogger. But with all that, good night.

Chopsticks

Somebody wanted to use chopsticks just like daddy...and can you believe he did remarkably well? I think he and I are at the same skill level! Hahaha

We have even more plans for tonight and possibly Monday. Katie is taking mom back to her place Tonight through Monday sometime, otherwise we would wear her out even more!!!
Here are some fun photos of our first half of the weekend.

Labor Day @ Donner Lake

Its is quickly becoming the tradition of Tue De Mers family to vacation over labor day at Donner Lake. Not just because we rent the same HUGE and amazing cabin each year for cheap, but also because the De Mers Clan in all of its glory reunite here on labor day for a family gathering from all over the country.
We had a wonderful time with all of Aarons cousins and aunts and uncles as well as the ever growing Second Cousin population. And when I mean ever growing, I MEAN ever growing. We had at least three pregnant ladies there, lots of 2013 babies and of course even more older kiddos.  This makes for an only somewhat relaxing first day as it is constant Kid Watch with the lake biting at our toes, but relaxing none the less and even better- fun for the kids.
Here are some pictures from our weekend.

And Then He Found...

The computer...like father like son.  This boy is now interested in "watching games".  Oy! Here we go. Wish me well.
