Model in the Making

You have to check out this cute article on Le Top's blog that includes TWO pictures of Lucas at their latest photo shoot.  We had a good time, and the boy was a rockstar!  I'll see if I can get more pictures here too.

Just a couple of cute pictures from our first day to the park in a month due to our illness, and Elijah's best bud, Jackson, joined us.  The boys had a great time!

Sous Chef!

Monday night I was on for dinner as Aaron was off to class.  I fixed my favorite go to meal, and one that I know the kids will eat without throwing a tantrum about (say it in your best whiny voice) "I don't liiiike itttttt" - Carbonara.  I had some Pilsbury crescent dinner rolls in the fridge so I thought I would have those a nice side, and one, again, these carbaholics would scarf down.  Elijah was being whiney and mopey so I pulled him in for some F-U-N.  He rolled all of our cresecent rolls ad they came out great.  - Note to self, make kids help more often.
Here is a little video of Elijah talking about his cooking master piece.

We're Back in Action!

We were sick....we were really sick. If you didn't know, you do now.  Starting Christmas day through January 4th I was in bed, practically the whole time...at home, at Vicki's (we even had to stay an extra day, because I couldn't face a 3 hour car ride home), at home again- and then on Monday the 5th I was coughing and by Wednesday work sent me home to cough all over my family instead of them (good call work). And then, Sunday came around and we had two kids that were starting not to feel well and well lets see here is a better way to summarize our 4-5 weeks of the recent past:
7 advice nurse calls
6 Work from Home days
5 prescriptions
3 cases of the flu
3 Doctor's visits
2 Doctor Phone Appts
2 Sent home from school sick days
1 ear infection
1 case of pneumonia
1 X-ray (Lucas contracted pneumonia)
1 injection (Lucas' heavy duty anti-biotics)

So that seems like it painted the picture a little better.  Now we have
4 VERY WELL FAMILY MEMBERS!!!!! Thank the good Lord.  And can I please ask for no more sickness - haven't we had enough? I sure hope so!

So we are all finally back to good health, good spirits and ready to deliver some much needed blog content for you...

4 Christmas'

Good lord that is a lot of Christmas! Indeed we had four Christmas' this year. It all started Christmas eve with Dad, Katie and Igor as is tradition (but I think I will be breaking that tradition and starting a new one next year). Then Christmas morning with our gifts for the boys, then Christmas noon with Aaron's family and finally the day after Christmas or maybe it was two days after Christmas with mom, Emery, Vicki, and of course Katie and Igor.  Sheesh. Well there is not Mich to be said I'll let Tue pictures speak for themselves, but I do want to say a big Thank you to all of you for your gifts to the kids. They loved them all!!
