More 1st Birthday Pictures

I remember taking Elijah downtown and taking his picture for his first birthday.  Since I didn't remember that until today and it is supposed to pour this weekend, I took the boys out to the park after daycare and snapped a few quick 1st birthday pics of Lucas, and got some cute ones of Elijah too.  It was cold and I am sick with a cold so it was a quick photo session, but still, I managed to get a few good ones. (Gram, these will print in good quality for you, I took them with our really nice camera.)

Happy 1st Birthday Lucas!

Just a quick pic to celebrate Lucas' 1st birthday. I will post a full update after his check up on Thursday.

Daddy Snuggles

I just thought I would share these sweet picture of the boys and their daddy. At one point Elijah was all the way on top of Aaron's side. I remember loving to lie on my dad's side when I was little.  This definitely brought me back to my childhood.  (apologies to Aaron as this is not a good camera angle.)

Aunty Shauna Comes to Town

My friend Shauna, from college, came and stayed with us this past weekend.  Though the boys could have been in better health, and better spirits for that matter, we still had a great time. We drug shauna to the park and to church and to the store...and then she and I escaped for a ladies afternoon out, full of pedicure pampering (its been a long, long, long time since I have enjoyed that luxury of a pedicure).  Here are some pictures of our weekend.

Story Time with Aunt Katie

We had the pleasure of having Katie, igor, and dad over on Monday night for dinner and as it was story time! Elijah had such a good time with Katie , though I think you could probably say the de for the reverse. We all had such a good time and I honk he boys were really wore out by the end of the night ad they went down without a peep.

I Love Pancakes!

This boy is so finicky. I thought Elijah was picky, I had no idea what I had coming. Lucas is not find of baby food, in fact there is very few baby foods he will eat. He hates eating from a spoon, but will wolf down almost anything in those pouches. So I bought reusable pouches because the prefilled ones are super expensive. Well then he decided that those pouches were fine and all but eating finger food is much preferred. Seriously?! He has three half teeth?! How is going to eat finger food? We figured out some items he could eat, errr gum, and it turns out, so far he LOVES pancakes! Which is fine by me (and aaron) because they are quick and easy to make. Plus we don't mind eating them either. Here are a couple of pictures of Lucas gnawing on his favorite food. Enjoy!

Olympic Gold

We were watching the Olympics this weekend and I caught a picture of the boys doing their best landing pose (so yeah, it's a gymnastic stuck landing pose, but whatever).  Enjoy and enjoy the olympics!

He had both hands up but I couldn't snap the picture fast enough. So here's a cute picture as a bonus.

A Rainy Saturday

We had a nice quiet night at home, last night, in this rainy weather. Dad came over with the worlds best Chinese food from jus garden and Elijah had his first taste of own ton soup....and he loved it just like his mom. Now to get him to eat something more than the broth!
Lucas was speeding around on his knees as usual and in good spirits.
Hope you enjoy these pictures!

Rain, Rain, Stay...Please Stay!!

If you hadn't heard it finally made it to California after something like 52 days of sun in the middle of winter. So that means time to break out the rain gear! Elijah has a great rain jacket that he somehow coined his "super" jacket. I think maybe he thinks it's a super hero jacket, because it's bright yellow. I too have some super rain gear, some new slosher boots or waivers or, well...rain boots that I secured with a gift card I received at Christmas. I had them on at our first rain the other the day and Elijah saw them and wanted to put them on. So here are some funny pictures of him in my rain gear, I don't think that the reverse could be possible, so I will spare you the trial.
Happy Saturday...well Sunday by the time you read this.
