Just thought i would share a little clip of some of  Elijah's words. I had originally recorded this for Shauna because she wanted to hear him say "tada" but it was early this morning when i recorded it and he wasn't quite up for the full fledged "tada". - enjoy.

Reading with Daddy

We read to Elijah every night before bed and the other night I found Elijah and daddy on the floor reading one of Elijah's favorite books "One Rainy Day".  As you can see Elijah likes to "knock" on duck's door, smell the flowers, look that the butterfly and most of all turn the pages.

Baby L has the hiccups

Little baby L had the hiccups tonight after i ate a cup of ice cream. I was cracking up watching the cup bounce on my stomach so i just had to share.

P.s. we are referring to this baby as L because my gram has asked to be surprised on the gender again how fun is that! We are having a great time thinking of ways to work around it, it definitely makes me feel creative! :)

Le Top Darling of the Day: Elijah

Today’s Darling is Elijah, 20-months-old. The last time we featured him he was just 6-months-old. They grow up soooo fast! In this photo Elijah is sporting the Le Top long sleeve “Merry Reindeer” shirt and our Fall 2011 “Vroom” motorcycle jacket.Lookin’ good buddy!

Mom says that Elijah loves choo-choos and playing with soccer balls, even though she thinks he may make a better pitcher at this point. His vocabulary is growing, but his favorite words are: “what’s that”, “turtle”, “Elmo” –  and of course “Mommy”, “Daddy”, “Grandma” and “choo-choo”. Although he can be timid and just a little shy, once you crack his shell he’s a ball full of energy.

Congratulations to this handsome half-pint on being named the Le Top Darling of the Day!

A little behind again

Sorry for all of you who check this blog often.  Things have been busy since Christmas, just trying to get back in the swing of things after our days off.  Baby #2 is growing bigger every day, which results in a slower  me, in every way. :)
Here is a little video of Elijah playing with his new ball that he got for Christmas from Aunt Lynn.  I wish I had started recording earlier because this was going on and more rapidly for approximately five minutes before I started recording.  Needless to say Elijah is getting more active and interactive every week.  It is so fun to watch and get to be a part of.
