Cousins!

We were over at Aaron's cousin's house last week (Mike and Joslyn) and all the baby's/kids were there. It was so fun to see Elijah interact with his cousins (2nd cousins I guess).

Good Morning!
I was up with Elijah this morning feeding him breakfast. He was being very naughty, not wanting his oatmeal or banana baby food (really?! not banana baby food?!) so I gave him some Cherrio's, which he loves and some cut up banana, and he did much better.  I think we are pretty close to phasing out baby food at least at breakfast.  I literally just seriously stocked up on baby food, so I am hoping we can at least make it another month. Anyway, here are some cute pictures I took of him, while he was eating his breakfast.  You can see that his hair is coming in more and more every day now.  I gave him a bath last night and the curls are really starting to form.  It's kind of dorky looking at the moment, but hey, at least it's hair!

Elijah LOVES the bath! So much so that when I turn the water on, he will hear it in the other room and come racing toward it. Today when I was filming him for you, he almost got in. You will see that at the end.

Here are just some pictures we have taken in the past couple of weeks.  Can you believe Elijah is already 9 months old?!  We hardly can!

I'm Getting More Hair!

Well, it's finally happening.  Elijah is getting enough hair to actually SEE!  We need a better camera to take these fine type pictures, however I think you can at least see a little bit of the hair that he is getting in!  I was even able spike it the other day! woo hoo!  Now all we are waiting for are some teeth!

Big Boy Bath!

Elijah got to take a "Big Boy Bath" today. Mostly due to my forgetting to empty the water earlier this week in his "baby bathtub" when he was sick.  I figured, 'you know what, he is crawling now, and should be just fine in the regular bathtub.  Let's just say he L-O-V-E-D it! He literally crawled in the bathtub, he swam like a beached fish.... and he kicked on his back.  He had a ball exploring the new big bath tub!  Honestly I am slightly relieved, it is a little easier this way.  The downside? I have a big, plastic, tub that I have no where to put now!  Looks like another hand-me-down for one of the babies coming this spring amongst our group of friends!
