4th of July (more current content)

...more current content for you, until I start posting the recent (2 month) past, to catch you up.  But I won't make you wait for what JUST happend - that would be mean.

So here we go 4th of July weekend - note may be broken up in to several posts- we did a WHOLE lot (we also did a whole little... )

First a little about what I did, because I kicked off the weekend with the girls at Joanie's house. We had a crafting party and made two crafts.
First was coloring a mug with nail polish.  Warm water in a tupperware tub, poor two nail polishes in, quickly marble with a toothpick then dunk the cup and Voi La!

Then a soft clay marbled  jewelry dish. Modeling clay, twisted and flattened and then molded in a oven safe dish and baked for 15 minutes, Voi La!

It was so much fun, and just relaxing for all of us. And we came away with some neat things!

Then the fun part, especially for the kids. The Annual Torch Light Parade!
The kids had a blast and we managed to keep them out of the bounce house (since they would get to go in one for free the next day at Erin & Nate's).  Elijah really liked the clowns, and I think Lucas liked most everything.  It was such a nice night. We barely needed jackets at the end, and really we didn't need them, that's saying something for this town. Now that I think of it, Lucas probably liked the dancing and music the best :)

these two love each other and then hate each other, then love each other, then hate each other...

Water Break

Happy kids!!!!

A little stretch armstrong arms, but cute faces never-the-less

Sorry its on its side, but you can see how much fun Lucas and Mk had dancing!
