Daddy's Home!

Here's a little something to brighten your day.  This is the video I took the moment that Aaron walked in to Daycare to pick up the boys. His first time seeing them (and vice versa of course) in 6 weeks...

Puppy's , A Boys Best Friend

** lucky you! You get a second post today because I didn't realize until just now that this never posted on 6/19!!"**

Well we hauled aaron off to the airport this weekend and took a jaunt by Katie's neighborhood for a little breakfast at Ric & Ann's (which why did I all I want to sing was pepper ann, pepper ann bla bla bla bla pepper ann - song from a cartoon growing up) post drop off. We had a bit of a wait and Lucas was a ok with the wait since there were about five dogs to keep his attention. This kid loves dogs! He's incapsulates by them. I will say he wasn't as eager to touch them but just to look at them. he tried to get as close as possible without touching them but would laugh and laugh when he got real close. 

As a side note (ok, mini rant), what's up with dog people? I mean the really really dog people? Your dog is not a person it's a dog. And to that degree my kid IS a person not a dog, please don't refer to him as a puppy! Seriously someone called Lucas a puppy.  It didn't strike me until about half way through the day when suddenly I realized that that person called my kid a dog. I know it was meant in a nice way, but seriously get a grip. 

Sorry it's been a while

Well all I can say is that life has been busy and my phone (where I now take the majority of my pictures) has decided to stop updating o my cloud so the only place I an write my posts is on my phone itself. I have lots of pictures and fun things to share with you. Including Aaron's first pick up of the boys from daycare after he returned from his 6 week stint I. Alaska. It's priceless. Today however you get some cute random pics of the boys. I will try my best to get some more recurrent posts up here, but I can't promise anything as things are about to wind back up in the coming days. More on that later.

Lucas' first Popsicle! He would only eat it when I had wrapped it with a paper towel so his hand wouldn't get cold. 

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Today is Aaron's 32nd Birthday.  And since we had a long day and drive home, the kids were exhausted (me too by the way) so we didn't get to talk to daddy live tonight, the next best thing is a recording.  Aaron- Here is your happy birthday from two kids that can't wait to see you! (and me too!!!!!)

@The Donut Shop

The boys slept well last night. We didn't make it to the fireworks but we did have a great BBQ with friends and family yesterday which plumb tired them out. Anyway I took them I the donut shop this morning (as unbeknownst to them, a thank you for letting mommy sleep on this morning) for some yummy donuts for breakfast   They loved it, of course and I think Lucas downed at least a half dozen donut hole and 1/3 of my donut!! Here are aome pictures.
