Elijah on a Daily Basis

Our little boy is getting more and more chatty. True we may not know what he is saying but there is the occasional word we can make out, or at least we think we know what he's saying like "book" and "bath". To you they may sound the same to us, they are words. Hahahaha. Enjoy !!

Olympic Water Polo Players are Really....

....Just waving hi! to you.  Didn't you know that?  Well that is what Elijah thought, when we were watching it on TV a couple weeks ago!  I wish I could have gotten it on video. I tried but it was too late.  He really thought they were waving to him with their arms up in the air, so he thought he would wave back.  It was the cutest thing I had seen in a while from him, and definitely made me laugh!
I think we watched more Olympics this year than any other Olympic year since I was a kid!  I really really enjoyed it, even the opening ceremonies...but I kind of "got" it, and I think you really have to understand the English to "get" the Opening Ceremonies.

Sunday Morning on CBS

I have started to notice that everytime I start (because I DVR everything these days) watching Sunday Morning, Elijah will turn around and stop everything when the opening music plays. I will admit, I would normally fast forward, but I stop and let it play out now just because I want to see if he will once again, stop in his tracks.

Alright Gram- I tried!

Hi All,
This post is mostly for my Gram, to whom I promised to upload multiple posts each day last weekend, since we were going to be at a family reunion. However, I did not take in to account how IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE we were. The hotel "Free Wi-Fi" was literally non-existent and the "wi-fi" on our cousin's property was via Satellite...which also equals non-existent, ESPECIALLY when you are trying to upload large files (like pictures) to the web. So. In much sincerity, I apologize for the lack of posts last weekend.  I am finally home, and it's a weekend and I can post more of our favorite boy, Elijah.  Here are some pictures from the last weekend in Three Rivers, CA (what?! You've never heard of this place?! hahaha)

Getting in and out of the Bath....Better Known as the Bah!

Elijah has learned how to get in and out of the bath all on his own.  I walked in to the bathroom the other day, shortly after him and found him inside the bath tub!  I got the camera out right away because I knew he would do it again, and just maybe I would catch the process on film.  I was right!

Here is Elijah getting in and out of the bathtub.  What you see are my bracelets in the tub.  He gets one door in the bathroom that he can play with and that is where my big braclets are located.  So he likes to throw them in the tub because they make a lot of noise that way ;)

Tilden Park

We went to Tilden Park in Berkeley for Haven's (Mike & Joslyn's daughter) third birthday party.  It was a themed party, as any little girl should have.

Or as close as I could get it with what we had.  I even cut up an old t-shirt of mine and made him a custom hat (yah Jess! I am taking after you in my spare time!)
