My First Christmas!

Well....a few days later than I had thought, but finally, here is Elijah's First Christmas videos.  He loved everything, including the wrapping paper.  He even ate some of it...and then threw it up- great. I already am looking forward to next year, when he will really understand what opening a present means!

Even Closer to Crawling!

It was 18 days ago that I posted Elijah's first "all 4's" movements, and even though he didn't meet our forecast of a Christmas Day Crawl, he is definitely getting closer.  The video below was taken a night or two ago when he army crawled literally, down the hallway!  Aaron had called me on my way home from work to tell me that the boy had army crawled from one side of the room to the other and then back again, while Aaron was doing some work in the room!  I think our days of sitting back are coming to a close!

(Next post will be about his first Christmas, with lots of video and pictures. I will try to get that up tomorrow (Friday) .... Just for you, Gram!)

P.S. Sorry for our messy house...I am running out of energy chasing this kid around!

UT OH! Getting Closer to Crawling!

I have been trying to capture this on film for the last two or three days.  This week Elijah started getting his legs underneath himself and is developing the logic that this will propel him forward to obtain X object of his desire.....all this to say, the notion that many have that E will be crawling by Christmas is looking more and more realistic every day.

I'm Getting More Hair!

Yes, it's true!  Elijah is getting more hair!  I pulled him out of the bath on Sunday night and saw that I could "Mohawk" his hair!  There is still not much there, but it is definitely growing.  Hopefully he will beat me in the hair race, and have a good head of locks before his third birthday! hahaha
